When special occasions come around like birthdays & holidays, leftover wrapping paper can get annoying. When leftover wrapping paper is stored it gets rips, wrinkles, scratches, and faded from rubbing other rolls. Try these 2 easy options to keep that wrapping paper, on its roll.
First take your wrapping paper and “rewind” it back onto the roll tightly.
First Option, Take used paper towel or toilet paper roll tubes, cut, and wrap around the rolled wrapping paper (if you would like to make sure it stays put, use a rubber band on top of the roll, NOT on the paper it will just rip the paper)
Second Option, This is my favorite option. Take the tubing for pipes (like $.78 at home depot!) and cut into 5 or 6 pieces depending on the lentgh. I like the option so much because the tubing has a grip that is always tight & it gives the rolls plenty of space so they dont rub and fade.
Tip Alert: This will also work great to keep ribbons from becoming a HUGE jumbled mess. See.
