I had heard that there were several “easy” and “quick” ways to peel Garlic but sadly none of them worked for me, until this tip came along & BAM OMG it worked! I was so happy because I despise peeling garlic with my fingers (its like the smell takes forever to go away) and it also is “sticky” feeling. So heres a trick to peel that garlic in seconds!
you will need a tumbler or some type of cup with a lid. (I used one of my blender cups)
First, place the garlic clove flat, take a wide knife (like a cleaver or chef knife) on its side and tap or hit the the clover to break it apart. be careful and keep your hand from being close to the blade.
Then remove any stems from the ends each garlic cluster, and place them into tumbler. Give the tumbler a good shake for about 10 times
Dump them out and your garlic should be seperated from the peel like this.
How easy is that?!?!?!?! I know I wish I would of known this ALONG time ago!!!
